Anti-Inflammatory Foods

One of the most powerful tools to combat inflammation comes from the grocery store.

Foods that CAUSE inflammation:
  1. Added sugars
  2. Trans Fats
  3. Red and processed meats
  4. Refined carbohydrates (highly processed white flour bread and rolls, crackers, sugary cereals, white rice)
  5. Omega-6s (canola, corn, safflower, sunflower and peanut oils, mayonnaise)
Foods that FIGHT inflammation:
  1. Fresh fruits
  2. Leafy greens
  3. Extra-virgin olive oil
  4. Garlic
  5. Turmeric
  6. Walnuts
  7. Avocados
  8. Cinnamon
