Kris is a Physical Therapist who sees patients at our Portage location. Kris is board certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Additionally, she has advanced training in pelvic floor rehabilitation and visceral manipulation. She has been with New Life since 2008.
She enjoys working with people of all ages and getting to know each individual (in mind, body and spirit) and helping to empower them to return to the activities that they need and want to do so that they can enjoy life. Kris wants to help patients find the root cause of their issues and then work with them to make a plan, guide them and give them the tools to move better and feel better so they can get back to the important things that make life worth living. After experiencing her own pelvic floor dysfunction after the birth of her second child, Kris developed a passion for pelvic health physical therapy (treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic pain, and urinary incontinence). She wants to help women and men improve this aspect of their lives knowing first-hand what a powerful impact this can have on quality of life.
Outside of work, Kris enjoys spending time with her husband, Tim, and children, Ayden, Emma and Ellee. The family has 2 black labs, Maggie and Nani, who love to go on walks in the woods and snuggle with the family. Kris enjoys swimming, hiking, cooking, playing sports with her family (especially hockey and volleyball), book club and watching sports (her kids and the pros) – Go St. Mary’s Knights, Go Portage Warriors, Go Bucky, and Go Pack!
