New Life Physical Therapy held a Racial Inequality in Healthcare presentation for its employees. There are considerable facts that identify that this issue also extends into the healthcare arena. Our meeting built on the principle that we are an inclusive organization that has a mission to serve all people with kindness and respect including the need to have conversation of what and how these inequalitites look like, how we can become more comfortable discussing them, and how can be a proactive organization moving forward on these topics.
The Portage Chamber of Commerce held their 13th annual Chamber Golf Outing at the Portage Country Club. This year looked a little different from past years due to COVID-19, but we still managed to have lots of fun. New Life Physical Therapy sponsored hole #1 on the hot summer day. Sally came to New Life Physical Therapy after injuring her shoulder. She says, “I strained my right upper arm and shoulder when I threw something. I experienced some pain and discomfort when moving the arm in the next few days. Physical Therapy had helped me regain movement in my left arm/shoulder when I had a torn rotator cuff. The right shoulder injury was not as severe, but still was limiting me. The therapy helped wonderfully. ” - Sally
