Dr. Mary Rose Strickland presented to the teachers at St. John’s Child Development Center on Reclaiming Your Active and Healthy Life, on April 6th. The workshop included focused topics on understanding pain, variety of elements that impact pain, and initiating a health and wellness personal plan. This was our first in-person workshop in over a year and half, and it was fantastic to be able to re-engage safely in the community. The workshop served as a much needed self-care focus to these incredible teachers who have been through so much over this pandemic. If your team or organization is interested in hosting a self-care workshop to assist employees in reclaiming their active and healthy life, please reach out to Amanda Weyh at New Life Physical Therapy 608-742-9356.
New Life PT is excited to share the engagement of 2 of our clinicians, Samantha Scholtz, PTA and Joe Schilz, DPT. Their wedding is scheduled for the summer of 2022. Congratulations to Joe & Samantha!

Our workshops are a great resource to help people understand conditions that may hinder our ability to move and do the things we want to do or ways to increase our strength and ability. We are in the process of planning our next Free Online Workshops and would like to hear what topics would be helpful to YOU. What restricts your movement? What hinders you from moving and doing the things you want to do? Maybe your movement is pretty good. Is there something you would like to learn more about to increase or strengthen your movement ability?
