COVID-19 Update

Dear New Life Patients –

As we surpass the one-year mark since this pandemic changed our lives, I wanted to take a moment and thank you for your continued support and provide an update.

As a small, community-based business, our mission is to empower our patients in body, mind, and spirit to do the important things that make their lives worth living. We do this through direct, 1-on-1 care with a licensed physical therapy professional, in a value-based care model. Our philosophy is to guide patients in their health journey to reclaim their active life – through education, tools, and a prescribed path.

While many small businesses have closed this past year, I wanted to remind you that New Life Physical Therapy is OPEN here in Baraboo and Portage and ready to work with you in whatever manner you feel most comfortable.

Onsite-In-Person – New Life Physical Therapy puts your health and wellbeing as our #1 priority. While we look forward to seeing the smiling faces of our patients again soon, we will continue follow all CDC protocols to ensure safety during the current pandemic. Per CDC guidelines for medical facilities, we do ask that all individuals wear a mask while inside our facility. A full outline of what we are doing to help keep everyone safe can be found on our website: Updated COVID-19 Policies and Procedures

Live Online Telehealth – This service allows you to work directly with your expert New Life Physical Therapist from the comfort of your own home. An outline of what our therapists can do with you from a distance and what to expect can be found here: What Can My PT Do From a Distance

Online Workshops – We will continue to offer 2-3 workshops per month in an online format for the foreseeable future. Check this site for upcoming topics and further information: Upcoming Workshops

We have all experienced some unpredictable ups and downs but we are excited about the opportunities ahead and are challenging all of us to come out of this stronger than ever before. The time has come where we need your help.

  • Don’t put your pains and movement-related problems off any longer. It makes it more complicated and longer to address the longer it goes untreated. Let us help you match the option above that makes you feel most comfortable.
  • No primary care doctor’s referral is required – skip your PCP clinic waiting lines and fear of exposure. Choose your musculoskeletal expert directly for aches and pains and movement-related issues.
  • Cheapest option to truly address your problem, not simply alter your symptoms – studies show accessing PT early results in lower cost of care. An entire PT plan of care costs less than 1 MRI. Avoid unnecessary testing and target a solution. Private practice affords 1-on-1 care at significantly cheaper costs compared to larger hospital systems. Sincerely,

Dr. Mary Rose Strickland President – New Life Physical Therapy
